the Hit Device
Reality Fighters ep 7"

Hyperactive, guitarless "electronic punk" from San Francisco, with rebellious vocals to boot. More melodic than not, and ambitious as hell, dropping thanks inside to Bratmobile, Lung Leg & At the Drive-In, but sounding more like Winterbrief. Energetic dancin'-fool type? Pick this up.

Instruction Shuttle
Black Citrus ep 7"

Here's a descrip right inside: A neat little vinyl piece filled with crunches, haunted melodies, drones, rings, squeaks, shimmers, and various ambient textures. Play loud, at dusk or night, at any speed.
Each cover sports a unique squiggle just for you.

Jenhitt
Prototype Sound Series : Number One 7"

4 sweet, sharp noise-pop tracks from the scene that spawned Velocity Girl, Tuscadero, and so much more. Remember D.C. back then? This is it. Mixed by Rob Christiansen (Eggs, Sisterhood of Convoluted Thinkers) & Matt Letsinger. Feat. Costas Nakassis (A Study In Her, Like Chapels & Cations) as real young guitarist.

Kumari / Italian Electro
split 7"

A side a piece from Italian Electro & Kumari on the first of a series of four Catmobile 7" singles. Italian Electro have a dancey retro-electro thing going on, full-on song and vocals, while Kumari, a Japanese duo, go bedroom-fi w/ two songs, like a stripped down Aikagi.

Mall / Flowchart
split 7"

Early release of vinyl runs toward the end of 1000 copies (first 300 blue, then 700 red). We've gone b
ack to our original dual-cover design, watercolored in back then but now just a repro. An electro whirlwind on Flowchart's "True Jersey" and an astrological thumper with a B.I.G. beat on Mall's "Biggie's Star Theater". Lo-fi.

Micromars
Our Modulation 7"

Four coolin' tracks from Norway not unlike older Flowchart stuff. Micromars has since released a full-length on Audioinformationphenomena. If I were you I'd get this. But I have it already.

Velocity Girl / Chisel
split 7"

One song each from two legendary D.C. pop bands. Velocity Girl cover the Pastels' "Breaking Lines" while Chisel (feat. now-solo Ted Leo) gives an alternate version of "Morley Timmons", a track off their last record. Both bands broke up before or right around the time this 7" came out.
