REVIEWS:

This record has been sitting in my lp pile for about a year now, and somehow it's escaped my turntable. so i popped it on this afternoon and i'm currently eating it up. planet nett contribute three lengthy songs that drift along smoothly, never too confrontational or complicated. Just sweet and pure casio/rebirth pieces with plenty of colorful synth lines, laid-back atmosphere, and simple 808 riddims via the rebirth package. quite enjoyable music that meanders in the background as you do your homework. flip it over for stereo symphonic, featuring rod of my philabuddies mall plus his girlfriend wilynda. he programs, she sings. not too far seperated from mall or planet nett camp, but with some indiepoppish vox on top of it all. pretty enjoyable stuff for your lighter moods. not quite as smoked-up sounding as mall or flowchart, just nice and earnest electropop that's varied and original without going over the top on effects or gadgetry. pretty cool stuff.

Stereo Symphonic make lovely atmospheric electronica accompanied with boy/girl vocals and slight guitar, going from a BOARDS OF CANADA-style rhythmic hazyness to something similar to MY BLOODY VALENTINE. [Planet Nett is] techno-tinged electronica of the trademark TBTMO kind. -Catmobile
