Recorded before Special Education (Fuzzy Box/ Darla), this low-budget tbtmo tape is where it started. These six tracks (and "Scaredy" off the Subtrction comp) are the only pre-Fuzzy Box songs recorded by Mall, the suburban South Jersey duo alternately dubbed "the High Navigators". Recording is fun, because... anyone can do it. But it's what you record that makes the difference. We... are... Mall.
Now you know... This album contains samples of Lenola, Aphex Twin, Tortoise, Notorious B.I.G. and more. Inside cover "flat" was lost and had to be redesigned/ remade 10.'01. Fuck. At least we had the song order saved on this page, the master tape we dub from is all out of order.
